Many articles tell us about about initial setup of IPv6 and are completely silent about what to do next. Thus, I wanted to share my own experience.
How to Change Your Twitter Avatar
payam
Your avatar appears to the left of all your tweets, so it’s your official face on Twitter. People don’t like following you on Twitter if your avatar is just the default. So make sure that you change your avatar from the Twitter default to a photo of yourself or a picture of something else. You can also change your Twitter avatar as often as you like.
To change your avatar, follow these steps:

Realtime Twitter Search Results on Google
payam
While I am not sure if Twitter poses a threat to Google, I think it is clear that real-time search is increasingly important. And you can be sure that Google knows it. Will Google try to acquire Twitter, or take some other approach? Time will tell, but rather that wait, I decided to get realtime twitter search results on Google today. I created a Greasemonkey user script that does exactly this. It displays the most recent 5 tweets for the query that you are search for, giving both real-time Twitter search results and Google results on the same page:

How to Create a Hibernate Shortcut in Windows Vista
payam
Using the Hibernate setting in Windows Vista is a great way to save power and to close your system quickly. And if you create a Hibernate shortcut on your desktop, you can send your computer to this semi-sleep state with the click of a mouse. In fact, unlike Sleep mode, when you Hibernate, there is no energy consumption at all.
Hibernate, like Sleep, is a way of closing your system without waiting for the extended shut down process and the even longer reboot when you’re ready to start working again. When you set your computer to hibernate, your screens and open applications stay exactly where you left them. Although Hibernate can be slower to awaken than Sleep, it has the benefit of protecting work in progress.
When you put the computer in Sleep mode, all unsaved data is stored in the RAM memory. This is fine unless the power turns off or the battery drains. Without power, the contents of memory are lost. When hibernating, Vista saves a copy of the memory files in a system file called hiberfil.sys.
Vista allows you to set up a Hibernate shortcut using a nifty but little-known program called shutdown that shuts down your system quickly — in many cases, without asking whether you want to save any work in progress.

Tip: Update your NVIDIA Drivers for Windows 7
payam
If you’re running Windows 7 and have an NVIDIA video card, now might be a good time to update your drivers. I recently learned of a fix that resolves some issues with Windows Live Movie Maker when you change aspect settings. Lasted WHQL-certified drivers are dated October 5th 2009 (out of the oven and just cooled).

Install Adobe CS4 Software on Windows 7 x64
payam
I tried to install Adobe Illustrator CS4 and Photoshop CS4 on Windows 7 but the setups didn’t work and give a error message and I found that these were verry common errors of installing CS4 Products on Windows 7 x64.
Before install you should do these steps:
- Click the Start button
, click All Programs, and
then click Accessories. - Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then click Yes. - In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt:
reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f - Press Enter to install the solution.
- If The operation completed successfully displays, close the Administrator: Command Prompt window to complete this procedure. If “ERROR: Access is denied” displays, repeat this procedure from the top, making sure you clicked Run as administrator in step two.”
This above solution I found on http://www.sevenforums.com/software/3183-why-cant-i-install-adobe-cs4-software.html
After done those steps, I can successfully install CS4 product on my Windows 7 Ultilimate x64.

Replacing Vista with Windows 7
payam
Tonight I’m working on installing Windows 7 on my wife’s laptop. I’d originally thought that I’d have to do a completely clean install. Although I was willing to do that, I didn’t want to take the time to find all of her files and settings and back those up on an external drive so they wouldn’t be lost.
